This Contextual Menu "nudges" the Finder to update the information it displays about a file or folder. Use the "Nudge" menu item on any file, folder (or groups of items) if you suspect the Finder hasn't updated its view. This should work for most attribute changes, icon changes, size changes, files that have been saved but don't appear, and so forth. Use the "Touch" menu item to also change the file/folders modification timestamp to the current date and time. Version 1.2 works on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. On Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) and up, you can control-click on the empty space in any Finder window and have the contextual menu act on the containing folder.
Unfortunately, some attribute changes are NOT properly recognized. This includes the "invisible" and "package" attributes. For changes to those attributes, you must Quit and restart the Finder.
